Vision

Havelock 63 is a family owned building that was primarily developed to provide a new office for SSH Architecture, the architectural firm also owned by family members.  SSH Architecture  always felt Havelock was the perfect community to thrive and support a redeveloping community.  Havelock is reminiscent of the childhood hometowns that shaped our future.  The firm was first introduced to Havelock Community in the 1990's while providing design and construction services to local merchants and real estate developers for many of the historic renovations along Havelock Avenue.  Unfortunately, it took 22 years for the firm and the family to find the opportunity participate in the redevelopment of the historical district.

Havelock 63 is actually a new building constructed on the site where two houses once stood but were demolished in the late 1990's.  The new building is loosely designed around 3 different buildings on Havelock Ave while appearing to add second and third levels to the buildings.    The best compliment we receive is when community members tell us:

"They are very impressed with the renovation of the buildings but they do not remember the old buildings at this location."
